Terms & Conditions of Sale

 

The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions placed. Purchasing indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and print a copy for future reference. 

 

The Goods  

 

We endeavour to give as much technical information as is reasonable about the products we sell. All images, descriptive matter, specifications, and advertising on our site are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods. We always try to make sure that the information given on our site is as up to date as possible, but we cannot guarantee that this will always be the case. Full detailed specifications are available from the manufacturer's brochures or their websites. If you do find incorrect information, please advise us by email to [email protected] . Goods remain the property of The Clean Machine Direct Ltd. until paid in full.


Payment and Price 


The total price payable for the goods and delivery will be as shown at the time when you place your order. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been confirmed / placed. We will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order.

 

Pricing Displayed & Stock Availability


Displayed web prices are subject to adjustment if there has been an error or omission in the listing pricing. If there has been an error or omission on a displayed price of a product, we reserve the right to advise current / correct pricing and will advise upon receipt of your order. We will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order for a full refund. 

 

Limited Stock Availability Items 

 

Our product pages list whether an item is a current stocked item or 'limited stock availability'. All limited stock availability items are subject to price adjustments, as these may be special order products which are subject to supplier price increases without our prior knowledge, items may also be subject to price fluctuations / adjustments upon re-stocking. Please feel free to call us prior to placing your order for 'limited stock availability' items and we can confirm the current pricing for you. 

 

Pricing Error / Omission Refunds & Refund Times 


We will process your refund as soon as possible in the instance of a pricing error / omission and or return. The time taken for funds to be reimbursed into your bank account is subject to your bank / payment provider refund times. This time frame is completely out of our control but is normally processed within 10 working days or faster depending on your bank or payment method provider. 


Payment Methods  


We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, MasterCard and Switch. On the order you must provide us with your exact billing address and telephone number - the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you. Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Your order will only be processed once authorisation of your credit card has been properly received.

You may also pay by cheque or postal order although we cannot dispatch the goods until payment has been cleared which can take as long as 10 days. You may also pay for your capital purchases by lease.

Availability of Goods


All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason, we will not charge you for these and we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.

 


Delivery Charges & Partners

 

All prices on our website are exclusive of delivery charges which will be calculated and advertised during the checkout process.

 

Delivery price of £9.00 plus VAT quoted is for most UK Mainland addresses. AM/PM and Saturday deliveries are optional and will also incur additional charges.

 

We use DPD & DHL for all UK Mainland deliveries.

Delivery Times


Delivery will normally be made within 3-5 working days from clearance of payment. Deliveries may be made in instalments / backorders dependent on availability.

 

We will endeavour to deliver goods within the times stated but goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside our control.

 

Any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods. If we or our suppliers are temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of this position and we would ask you to allow up to 14 days for dispatch of the goods. Although we hope you will not feel it necessary, you always have the right to cancel if you cannot wait for delivery.

 

Delivery Discrepancies

 

Any delivery discrepancies must be notified within 14 days of date of delivery to rectify any errors that may occur, if we are not notified within this time frame will be unable to investigate or rectify. We shall not be liable for any non-delivery of goods (even if caused by our negligence). Our liability for non-delivery of the Goods shall be limited to replacing the Goods within a reasonable time or issuing a credit note at the pro rata Contract rate against any invoice raised for such Goods.

Risk


Once we have delivered the goods to your door you are responsible for them. We will only deliver goods to the address on the order.

 

From the time of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your own risk. 

 

Any transit damage to the goods, shortages or incorrect goods supplied must be noted on the delivery consignment note at the time of delivery.

 

We do not accept any responsibility to your loss of business and or costs, should any problems with equipment or inability to supply products occur, it is not the responsibility of The Clean Machine Direct Ltd. to ensure the continuity of your business operations. Ensuring your supply of essential equipment and or products required for you to operate is out of our control. 


Product Guarantees & Warranty

 

In the event of a problem with your purchase we will endeavour to rectify the problem.


All products supplied are covered by the terms and conditions of the individual Manufacturer's / Suppliers Guarantee.

 

All manufacturer warranties are subject to the individual manufacturers product guarantee, and these policies are out of our control. 

 

The manufacturers guarantee only covers products that have a genuine manufacturing fault.

 

The manufacturers guarantee specifically excludes faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse and wear and tear. You are required to carry out routine maintenance of equipment, neglect of routine maintenance and general servicing is not covered. 

 

All warranty claims require return to manufacturer base for inspection to identify the root cause of the problem, you will not be reimbursed until the manufacturer has carried out their inspections, on the result of their diagnostic assessment you will be advised whether the goods are covered by the manufacturer guarantee. 

 

You the buyer, are responsible for the cost of return of the defective part. If warranty is approved, you will be reimbursed for the return cost and or any replacement part(s).

 

We are not responsible for providing free of charge replacement equipment, parts and or labour during this inspection period, if you require replacement equipment, parts, or labour for continuation of operations, these are fully chargeable and charged at current prices. Upon the subsequent manufacturer inspection, we will advise whether the original equipment is covered and or approved by their guarantee and refunds / credits will only then be processed if applicable. 

 

Replacement parts supplied under warranty will be guaranteed for the remainder of the original parts warranty and not from the installation / replacement part supplied date.

 

This warranty excludes the following conditions and circumstances which are at the discretion of The Clean Machine Direct Ltd. and or the product manufacturer:

 

Wear and tear, misuse, abuse, improper maintenance, frost damage, the use of chemicals other than those supplied or approved by The Clean Machine Direct Ltd, or the manufacturer, improper installation or repair, unauthorised modification, incidental or consequential costs, loss or damage, service, labour or third-party charges, the cost of returning defective parts to The Clean Machine Direct Ltd. or the manufacturer.

 

We do not accept any responsibility to your loss of business and or costs, should any problems with equipment occur, it is your responsibility to ensure the continuity of your business operations, including keeping spares of essential equipment required for you to operate. 

 

Commercial cleaning equipment, requires regular routine maintenance and servicing. It is your responsibility to maintain and service your equipment to enable optimum performance for your cleaning operations. 

 

Warranty is on a Return to Base / Manufacturer basis. If the manufacturer offers on-site engineers, callouts are subject to their standard charges until the root of the problem has been identified, at which point you will be reimbursed should the problem be related to a manufacturing fault. 

 

If the fault turns out to be a non-warranty issue, then any relevant parts, labour and carriage would be chargeable before we return the equipment. This does not affect any statutory rights that you may have.


Returned Goods


If you are not totally satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 working days from date of sale and or delivery for full credit or refund less any applicable delivery charges.

 

It is your responsibility to return any such items in a pristine saleable condition in their original box and packaging. You will be wholly responsible for the return of the goods and any associated costs of return.

 

Goods received back incomplete, damaged or in any condition other than saleable, will not be applicable for refunds.

 

Prior to returning any products, please contact us within 14 days from the date of delivery.

 

If the goods are not received within 14 days of the sale / delivery date, your right to cancel will be withdrawn and a 20% re-stocking charge at our discretion will be applicable.

 

General


The terms and conditions shown above do not affect your statutory rights. To order goods through this website you must be at least 18 years of age and accept delivery within the UK. We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to the terms and conditions as detailed above.
